Welcome to the First United Methodist Church of Fairbanks, Alaska. We are a warm fellowship just 140 miles south of the Arctic Circle offering creative, inspirational, and challenging ministries in the only urban center of the Alaskan Interior.

Individuals and families throughout the Fairbanks area have made this community of faith their spiritual home in the Far North. We pray this web site gives you a glimpse of our faith community and an opportunity to share our faith experience.

Tom Telfer is our pastor. We welcomed him and his family to our community in 2005. Tom has served churches in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington.

Visitors are always welcome. Sunday worship services are at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 AM. American Sign Language interpretation is provided at the 9:45 A.M. service
